Rigby Bennett has been surfing for over 20 years, spending countless hours in the waters of Southern Rhode Island and California. A true waterman at heart, Rigby combines deep local knowledge of Narragansett’s breaks with an enthusiastic, confident teaching style that helps surfers progress quickly and safely.
With more than a decade of experience as a surf instructor, Rigby works with everyone from young children catching their very first wave to older first-time surfers and those looking to get back into the sport after time away. He is known for his remarkable ability to get students standing and riding during their first lesson. His approach blends clear instruction, hands-on in-water coaching, and an intuitive understanding of ocean conditions — giving surfers both the skills and the confidence they need to succeed.
Beyond the lineup, Rigby is a dedicated high school educator, where his passion for teaching extends into the classroom. His natural ability to connect with students of all ages translates seamlessly to the beach, creating a supportive, encouraging environment for every surfer he works with.
When he’s not surfing or teaching, Rigby enjoys golfing, fishing, snowboarding, traveling, and staying active. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Administration at the University of Rhode Island.

Growing up in the water, she developed both a deep respect for the ocean and a natural ability to help young surfers feel confident, safe, and excited to learn.
Kylee is especially known for her calm, encouraging presence in the lineup. She has a gift for helping beginners get comfortable in the waves and consistently gets students standing and riding — often during their very first lesson. Parents appreciate her patience and attentiveness, while kids are drawn to her positive energy and supportive coaching style.
She is currently finishing her junior year at Dartmouth College as a pre-med student and competes as an NCAA Division I athlete in both the Hammer and Weight Throw. The discipline, focus, and leadership required to balance Ivy League academics with Division I athletics carry directly into her instruction style — structured, motivating, and confidence-building.
Last year, Kylee traveled throughout Europe, further broadening her perspective and love for adventure.
When she’s not surfing or training, she enjoys snowboarding, boating, shopping, and traveling.

Raised in the waves of Southern Rhode Island, he developed into both a successful competitive surfer and a respected local standout, confidently surfing some of Rhode Island’s most powerful and challenging breaks.
Now completing his first year of college as an Environmental & Marine Affairs major, Brayden’s connection to the ocean extends well beyond the lineup. His academic focus reflects a deep respect for marine ecosystems and coastal environments — something he brings into every lesson with an emphasis on ocean awareness, safety, and stewardship.
In addition to surfing throughout Rhode Island, Brayden has spent time surfing in both California and Puerto Rico, expanding his experience across different wave types and conditions. That range, combined with his competitive background and multiple contest successes, gives him a strong understanding of wave mechanics, positioning, and progression.
With four years of surf instruction experience, Brayden works with surfers of all ages — from young children catching their very first waves to older beginners and those looking to get back into the sport. He has a natural ability to break down technique and help surfers quickly build confidence, skills, and a love for the ocean.
Surfing, snowboarding, and fishing remain his top passions. When he’s not in the lineup, he can usually be found offshore fishing, cooking, or chasing the next swell.
